#COPPERCUBE REVIEW WINDOWS#My main platform for this game is Windows but I do want to have similar functionality on other platforms also.ĭid CopperPro version manage to do deliver what I wanted:ġ. I could do that for WebGL but not for any other platform.Ĥ. I've wanted a custom loading screen option, not because I wanted to hide CopperCube logo which I plan to display anyway, but because the loading time is always a good way to add images & promo/help messages that player can see while waiting for game to load. I could do that in the WebGL version of the game but not in Win/MAC, the only solution was a separate app for tutorials/help & that is still my option for in-depth help files but not for easily accessible in-game help files.ģ. I wanted to play videos in my game, mainly promo/credits (on the game start & in credits section) & tutorial videos (in the help/tutorial section). #COPPERCUBE REVIEW MAC#I needed post-processing, mainly Bloom, effects for WebGL & MAC since I use ReShade for Windows and couldn't find a good PPE solution for those platforms.Ģ. I'm now a proud owner of CopperCube Proffesional so I'm gonna write about my first impressions of this engine version :) At the start one thing: I'm going to evaluate CopperPro from the point of view related to my development needs & reasons why I've bought it in the first place.ġ. #COPPERCUBE REVIEW PRO#I've finally bought CopperCube Pro & here are my first impressions RRP: £50 (Fully assembled) / £60 (DIY kit with lights) / £60 (Fully assembled with lights)įor more information or to buy visit The Urban Botanist are offering our readers 20% off their order until 28 February 2019, use VAL20 at checkout.Ambiera Forum > CopperCube > CopperCube Open discussion There is also an option to order a personalised wooden token (with up to 35 characters, please bear in mind that this can add up to 3 days shipping to the order) that can sit inside the terrarium, so with Valentine’s Day coming up it would make the perfect personalised gift for your beloved. The style would fit in with any décor, would make a great dining table centrepiece, and look amazing on a wedding table. I’m quite an experienced plant keeper but I feel that I’d be confident in giving this gift to someone who is new to plants as they couldn’t fail to be pleased. Overall, I’m really pleased with the terrarium. #COPPERCUBE REVIEW HOW TO#Should you not be sure how to look after them or be a plant serial killer, a really good care guide is included telling you how and when to water to give you the best chance. The small pot is easy to take in and out for any maintenance you might need to give the plants although in my experience this is unlikely, as these plants tend to look after themselves. I found that the bigger succulent is better placed to the back of the terrarium. There is a space in the gravel already built in for you to place the pot and all you need to do is decide which succulent you want towards the front. The kit includes 3 succulents that are already potted up and ready to go. I bunched the wire up and swirled it around the inner walls of the terrarium and between the succulent leaves. The lights are on a bendable wire that allows you to sculpt them as you please. The fairy lights are small and controlled by a clear battery pack. It will always look tip top with not a stone out of place. The white gravel is built into the terrarium, so it saves you the hassle of building up the gravel to the right level to show off the plants as it’s already positioned perfectly for you. I received the entire kit with the lights, terrarium and succulents packaged separately for me to put together (can also be purchased fully assembled if you don’t want to create your own mini garden). It arrived by courier packed extremely securely in swathes of bubble wrap, packaging foam and wrapped in pink tissue paper. It’s very sturdy and is obviously made out of quality materials. The cube is designed so it presents itself as more of a diamond shape, and a flattened bottom keeps it in that position. The copper frame and geometric cube shape is bang on trend and looks awesome with my mid-century modern style décor. It is currently sitting well on my mantelpiece and neither dominates nor is overshadowed in that space. The first thing that struck me about the terrarium upon receipt was that even though it’s described as mini, it’s a really good size (19cm x 19cm x 19cm). The Urban Botanist are an independent business aiming to bring any space to life with their vast range of living and artificial art. I was lucky enough to receive the Valentine’s Mini Copper Cube Terrarium from The Urban Botanist and their Valentine’s range.
